Compaq 1245 updating to win98 se Femdom chat rooms no sign ups
This will give you an idea on how to do this when and if the time arises for you to either reinstall the operating system, install for the first time or upgrade your present operating system. This install guide is fully graphical and will take you through each step of the installation.(In fact I have COMPAQ laptop that had a card for a free upgrade to SE that I found only too late! Spent 3 days with XP-home trying to get it to do what "I" wanted and not what M$ wanted.) I still am not convinced the FE = SE disk is a full OS - especially since it is called an "update" rather than an "upgrade." And I can't believe MS would sell this disk for if it was a new OS. It does just what it says, updates Fe to Se and you must have FE installed on your computer. If you have to reinstall Windows at a later date, you have to load FE on the computer before you can "update" again. Reviewed the differences beween it and Win98SE on my other machine and went back to SE on both.My line-by-line shows the blow-up at so I changed to a genuine Microsoft mouse - no go.I have become a bit obsessed and would appreciate your help.
(The system bios can usually be entered on boot, usually by pressing the F1, F2, F8, F10 or DEL key.Because of NTKERN, I ran a memory check which was OK.Will not boot into safe mode but will boot into a command line and will boot from diskette. That's why you got it a' bit cheaper than buying the full retail disk... Your Gigabyte Mo Bo Disk might or their Website could have the correct USB Drivers but don't count on it. Not being a nig or anything, but i've tried both XP-home and Pro.I have FE and most of what I have read is that SE "should" have been provided for free as was the 95 Service Pack. Originally posted by beanman2k I have used that "UPDATE" disk in the past. It does just what it says, updates Fe to Se and you must have FE installed on your computer. OK,,now i remember the "update" disk that was offered and obviously the one your talking about. One reason "I" upgraded to SE was to get the USB 2.0 and firewire support. Not very exited about either one.(and yes, both bought legally and sittin' on a shelf in their boxes).
